Now that I’m back in the arms of my juicer, I’m abusing it. One fresh juice a day..at the minimum.
Last night’s sunset gave me the inspiration for a juice. This one contained:
- Beet- Anti-bacterial, antioxidant, tonic, cleansing, laxative, high in vitamin A and betaine, an enzyme that nourishes and strengthens the liver and gall bladder. Beets are also an excellent source of potassium.
- Carrot- Antioxidant, anti-cancer, artery-protecting, expectorant, antiseptic, diuretic, immune boosting, anti-bacterial, lowers blood cholesterol, prevents constipation, extremely nutritious and rich in vitamins A, B and C, iron, calcium, potassium and sodium.
- Orange- Antioxidant, anti-cancer, high in vitamin C and limonene, and a good source of choline, which improves mental functioning.
- 1/2 cup beet juice
- 1/2 cup carrot juice
- 1 cup orange juice
This recipe is simple, packed with nutrients, and best of all its tasty. Whip out your juicer and start cleansing your body today.
