Getting to Edinburgh wasn’t as smooth as we hoped but we made it. After taking a nerve racking flight on RyanAir followed up by driving on the left side of the road, we made it.
We only managed to fit in Edinburgh into our travel abroad but it was a good choice. The green lands are clearly visible from thousands of feet up in the air on the plane. You are surrounded by grassy hills and giant castles. The people are very friendly and they speak english which is nice to be surrounded by.
I would have to say I wasn’t too fond of the food and the smell in certain areas. Lot’s of meat and food to keep your skin thick and warm. Hate me but I wasn’t planning on trying their traditional staple; haggis.
The farmers market in Edinburgh was a lot of fun. They are just like at back home with a little more traditional food. There was a long strip with stands following it all the way down.
Edinburgh is a site worth seeing if you plan on heading to the United Kingdom
